The Jam Den - Providing A Safe Space For The Youth Of Adelaide To Jam And Grow

EMP Pathways recently launched our Jam Den program, which provides young bands with first hand experience of all aspects of creating, promoting and being in a successful touring band, all while they learn valuable life skills and establish positive social and professional networks. We have our first band signed up and ready to go!

Many young people cannot afford the stage quality gear they need to be in a performing band, we want to eliminate this problem for our program subscribers by providing them with it as well as a safe space to use it.

We have donated our own gear to the program, including an electric and acoustic guitar, a guitar amp, mic and a few cables, but we need the community’s help with the rest.

If you have ANY unwanted gear, including cables, pics, strings, drum sticks etc and would like to donate it towards the program please let us know.

We have also started our own fundraising campaign on Chuffed.org to purchase music equipment for our Jam Den subscribers to use. Please share this around, and if you can donate: chuffed.org/project/youth-music-program-run-by-volunteer-support-workers
