Introducing 'The Gaming Portal'

The Gaming Portal is designed to provide young people with a passion for gaming with the opportunity to join a team of like-minded gamers and together, learn how to get the most out of thier game time while avoiding the risks of the of online world.

The fully supported program helps young people and to discover not only the potential career pathways that online gaming has to offer, but also meaningful friendships and lifeskills.

EMP Pathways is here to help enhance our members online gaming experience, not to restrict it… We believe it is the level of engagement in an activity, not the activity itself that creates positive change. Therefore, The Gaming Portal uses young people's interest and passion for music and gaming, in combination with active support and guidance from our Life Balance Coaches as the foundation for supporting our members to engage in social and skill-building programs that can lead to healthy lifestyle habits and improved career outcomes.

We want to help our members to navigate their way safely through the gaming world by giving them access to the latest equipment and advice, while providing guidance from experts and renowned gamers and Youtubers to help our young people to avoid:

  • Gaming Disorder
  • Gambling Exposure
  • Online bullying
  • Excessive expenditures on microtransactions and other in-game purchases.

We do this while helping our young people to not only develop their skills as gamers, but in other areas that have significant cognitive, social and professional benefits, including:

  • Strategic thinking
  • Teamwork
  • Communication
  • Confidence building
  • Problem solving
  • Improved Social Skills
  • Improved learning outcomes
  • Improved career outcomes

E.M.P. Pathways Life Balance Coaches will be on hand to support in the development of healthy gaming habits and life skills in young people, using a non-invasive and targeted, strengths based approach that is engaging, educational and enjoyable.
